공모 내용

Imagine yourself working for a global company with clients all over the world. Your job requires you to meet your customers in their countries and, as a result, you spend a lot of time travelling and booking travel. Perhaps you are doing it yourself directly with your company’s travel agency. Or you may have someone in charge of all travel in your company who will work directly with the agency. Regardless, the logistics of booking travel can be stressful, tedious and time consuming, that’s why it’s important that you can trust your corporate travel agency to manage your travel bookings, allowing you worry-free trips so that you can focus on what’s important.

FCM Travel Solutions is a global leader in corporate travel management services. It manages travel bookings for employees as well as travel-related management services for the company, such as analysis of travel expenditure. FCM seeks to be companies’ best travel partner by providing the latest travel tools and consultancy advice.

However, FCM Travel Solutions is facing tough competition from other corporate travel services and needs to stand out in the market. What could FCM Travel Solutions do to make travellers and travel bookers delighted with its services, in an emotionally engaging and personal way?

In a presentation with text and visuals, share your out-of-the-box creative and innovative ideas that will make FCM Travel Solutions customers feel surprised, delighted, and valued.

We’re looking for ingenious ways to reach the hearts and minds of corporate travellers and travel bookers that are not a print ad, a TVC, or a loyalty program. It should consist of emotionally engaging ideas that make our travellers and travel bookers smile when they think of FCM Travel Solutions. Here are some areas that you can use to jumpstart your ideas: gifts, vouchers, online campaigns, mobile apps, events (e.g., Family Travel Day). What else can you think of? At the same time, please avoid the obvious clichés of giveaways, like FCM Travel Solutions branded key chains and water bottles.

We want you to stretch the limits of your creativity and imagination and tell us what else FCM Travel Solutions can do for travellers and travel bookers that will show them that FCM Travel Solutions values the business partnership and on-going support.

To help us understand your idea, please answer the following four questions:

  1. What is your idea about? Please give us a detailed and clear explanation of your idea.
  2. Who is your idea meant for? The traveller? The traveller booker? Is there anyone else we might have forgotten to mention that you’d like to reach?
  3. How is your idea memorable and how will it help your intended audience remember FCM Travel Solutions with a smile?
  4. How will the idea make the audience feel positively towards the FCM Travel Solutions brand?

We’re looking for creative and out-of-the-box ideas to reach the hearts and minds of corporate travellers so when you’re thinking of gifts, push those boundaries and think of service gifts, for example a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport.

Example of a good entry: A FCM Travel Solutions food truck that goes to FCM Travel Solutions’s clients’ head offices and provides a global food truck lunch experience. One theme could be Exotic Asia, where the food truck serves up a few Asian foods from Vietnamese pho to Japanese yakitori. There is a mini exhibition of FCM Travel Solutions’ latest technology or service solutions where employees can learn about the latest things that will help them in their travel booking, and a section where employees’ children can learn about travel and the world. This event is meant for everyone in the company – whether they travel, book travel, or not. This idea will help people who are directly or indirectly involved in travel booking think of travel in a social setting through the experience of global foods; they will appreciate being able to show their children a little more about their job; and they’ll love showing their children about the wonders of exploring.

Example of a bad entry: A loyalty programme that rewards travellers with points based on the quantity of travel incurred, that they can use to redeem personal travel for themselves and their family members against. Such a loyalty programme will bias the rewards to people who travel most often. There are other users of corporate travel services who do not directly travel and we want to your ideas to be more inclusive.

We are looking for really creative ideas that will surprise and delight company travellers and travel bookers, ideas that will bring a smile to their faces and make them feel positive about FCM Travel Solutions, when they make their next corporate travel booking.

  • Please answer the 4 questions above with a clear description and narrative so we understand what your idea is about.
  • We are not looking for a print ad, a TVC idea, or a loyalty programme. Ideas centered around these formats will not be accepted.
  • Selected entries will be used on the Internet. Authorizations and licenses to use protected elements (incl. music, photos..) must be compatible with Internet broadcasting. You must be able to provide a written proof of these authorizations and licenses at any time.
